Now a days, the Web Spam Team of Google is consistently making some
changes in the form of Algorithm Updates.Within last 6 months,Google has
updated and introduced some new search engine
Algorithm updates as well.Several blogs finds these updates helpful
while many blogs loose their position in Google search engine. So every
blogger should have some knowledge about all Google Algorithm updates.A
Minor update i.e “Google Page Layout” Algorithm instruct bloggers and webmasters, not to use Tons of Advertisement in their blog or website.Lets see the reason for the same.

Google Page Layout Algorithm
Why Google Penalizes Blogs and Websites with Tons of Advertisements?
Most
of the blogger and Webmaster want to generate maximum revenue from
their blog or website so they place Tons of Advertisement but this is
not user friendly.User don’t want to see too many Pop-up Ads and clickable links before viewing the content. They often come to those blogs or websites through Google so many users have filed a complaint to Google.According to Google:
We are consistently getting so many complaints from our users that when they click on a result they either have to face a website with tons of advertisements or it’s difficult to find the actual content, they aren’t happy with the experience. Users want to read the content straight away rather than scrolling down page past a slew of ads
It
simply means that if you are using too many Advertisement on your blog
or website then 90% chances are there that your blog/website will be
penalized by Google. Here I have specified everything by writing Too Many
Ads. It doesn’t mean that you should completely avoid Placing Ads on your website or Blog.
Should I remove all Advertisements from my Blog/Website?
No. Google is not asking you to remove all Ads from your blog/website.Even google provide you Google Adsense Account to place Ads on your blog/website to make some money
but you shouldn’t Place too many Ads.Placement of Too many Ads annoys
users.User hates this and Google as well.Have a look on the statement of
Google when they brought Google Page Layout Algorithm update:
We understand that placing ads above-the-fold is quite common for many websites; these ads often perform well and help publishers monetize online content. Here “Above the fold” means the type of content, a user first see when they visit your blog or website without scrolling your page.Just see the below given Picture which shows the meaning of “Above the fold”.
This algorithmic change does not affect sites who place ads above-the-fold to a normal degree, but affects sites that go much further to load the top of the page with ads to an excessive degree or that make it hard to find the actual original content on the page.
This new algorithmic improvement tends to impact sites where there is only a small amount of visible content above-the-fold or relevant content is persistently pushed down by large blocks of ads.

How to Protect your Blog or Website from this Penalty?
To protect your blog from any kind of Penalty, follow the below given steps:
- Give More importance to your contents rather than Ads.Always remember that Contents are the king and user visit your blog/website just in need of viewing some valuable contents and not your Ads so never Ad too many Advertisements specially the Pop-up and clickable links.
- As specified by Google you should only place reasonable amount of Advertisement above the fold.
- Use Google Browser Size Tool to see, How your blog/website appears before a Normal user.
Where should I use Google Adsense Ads on my Blog/website?
Google always provides at least one tutorials when they release their updates. Here also we have a video which provides you an instruction about Placement of Ads on your blog/website.Just check the below given video:

Quality contents and always give preference to your contents rather
than Ads. Simply use Ads in reasonable amount and not too many.Generating
an Income from your blog nothing wrong but Google only penalizes you
when you give preference to your income rather than user’s experience.
