The best way to get traffic to your website is to be at the top
of the results page of a search engine. Since there can only be
one at the top for every search query, your being actually there
is next to impossible with the millions of sites and billions of
articles contained within the internet.
However, that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t strive to be part
of the top ten in a results page. A good way, to rise through
the rankings of search results is by having an article in each
page of your website that contains at least 250++ words. This
article should contain keyword and relevant content about your
website or your product.
Reciporal linking is one method that many people talk about
to help you get better search engine ranking for your keywords.
I believe that this method is ok but is not as effective as it
was years ago.
I believe that one way links are the links that you should be
targeting to get your site ranked in the top 10 on google for
your keywords. One way links are links from site A to
your site but you do not have a link back to site A. This type
of link is more powerful in googles eyes because you have a vote
from another site without having to link back to them yourself.
A great way to get these one way links is to use a technique
called 3 way linking. In a 3-way link setup, site A links to site B,
site B links to site C, and site C links to site A.
Google sees each link in the 3-way link exchange as a one-way link
and gives it the FULL ranking value of a one-way link.

Ezine article writing and newsletters are another way to herd
some website traffic in your direction. You write hundreds, even
thousands, of articles to saturate the web. Embedded within
these articles are links to your website. Having all those
articles around is much like having mini-websites scattered all
over strategic places. With these articles, you can also give
the reader an option to subscribe to your newsletters. If they
accept, then you are right at their front door ready to make
your sales pitch (email presentations in this case).
If you want it all to yourself, you can turn your site into
something similar to Wikipedia. The only difference is that you
have merchandise to sell on each page of your website while
Wikipedia does not. Using this method, you are guaranteed a top
ten placement in any search engine in the internet. Of course,
this would mean a lot of work. But if you really want good
money, then you have to give good effort.
The methods for increasing website traffic I mentioned in
this article are just some of the many other ways available in
the internet. The most successful are those that entail
newsletters and ezine articles and link exchanges with other
websites. You decide which method

You may already have a website, a list or even your own product.
How can you put it all on autopilot and maximize your income?
Joining appropriate affiliate programs and promoting them to your visitors can provide a nice boost in your income whilst adding value to your readers.
There are some very important things to consider before joining an affiliate program.
1.Would it be of interest to your readers?
If you have an Internet Marketing site, then it's not worth promoting dog training products to them. But if you promote products that compliment your existing products and niche then you can be on to a nice little earner. However, you may not want to promote products that directly compete with your own, though there are times when this is a good thing to do, particularly if you have exhausted the buying urge for your product with your list.
2. What does it pay out?
There are some trade offs to be made in pay outs. You may prefer a program that pays less but converts better. The other trade off is the back end sales.Do you get commissions on the backend products and one time offers as well?
3. How often does it pay out?
Does it pay out twice every month, like Clickbank does? Or are its payments more infrequent? How does it deal with refunds and does it offer a guarantee? What is its minimum payout? All of these may influence your choice of program.
4.What is the payment method?
You must consider how the program pays its affiliates? Are they paying out by Paypal, direct bank transfer or check? If you are in a country which hasn't been approved by Paypal, you may struggle to get your commission. If they pay by check and you are not based in the same country as the originating bank the bank charges may be crippling, particularly if you can’t set the payout level. I’ve seen programs pay out $20 by check to someone in another country whose bank was going to charge them the equivalent of $35 to cash the check!
5.Is it good value for money?
Some affiliate program managers over inflate the value of their programs to cover the affiliate payments. If a product would have sold for $50, you can find the price is bumped up to $75 or more to cover the commission payment. It’s always worth considering whether you would buy the product yourself if you were your target customer.
Here's a bonus consideration for you, in the spirit of overdelivering
6. Review the product yourself if you can
There have been many horror stories circulating the Internet where people have promoted an affiliate program to find that it has either been a scam, the software hasn’t worked or the book has been complete hogwash. You really need to review a product before you sell it to ensure that it is any good.Your reputation can make or break your online business, and so you must really look after it.
These six points will help you find an affiliate program you can earn well from.

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?
For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.
At its core, internet marketing is about these things:
* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads
Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.
My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.
My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers - as we do - and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.
However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.
Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.
Even though there are more sides to internet marketing than just email marketing (permission based), email has been the foundation that our business sits on.

There are lots of good sources that can tell you a great deal about how to establish an affiliate marketing business, but there aren’t many places where you can find someone to do some of the hardest work for you. Well, I haven’t quite fixed that problem for you, but I know that I have unearthed what is probably nearly as good.
I sell my own digital and physical products, but a sizeable chunk of my income still comes from affiliate marketing, where I began. I use websites and blogs for all of my online business activities. I am a firm supporter–make that “enthusiast”–of SEO for traffic generation, but that is a long term process; good search results take time to build. In some cases, I have used PPC for affiliate products with success, but more often I am lucky to break even.
So, for me, as for all Internet marketers, traffic is a very challenging part of my business. Especially difficult are those times when I have to pass on a new affiliate opportunity because none of my websites are optimized to bring in targeted traffic for the product, so I face the age old question: How do I get the visitors to the vendor’s site with my embedded affiliate link?
I use the same, standard approach that most of you reading this use; I take them first to my own site, where I ply my skills of subtle persuasion. I hope they’ll click the link that will take them to the spot where they might actually buy the product that will earn me my pittance. I would like to make that process a bit less involved and take the prospects to the vendors a little more efficiently.
I use article marketing extensively for all of my sites. While I get some traffic directly from the articles, my primary reason for article marketing is its SEO value, which is considerable. However, especially for an affiliate marketer, there are two major problems with traditional article marketing. First, the major article directories don’t allow contextual links within the body of the articles. Typically, the links are isolated below the article itself in a sort of no man’s land called the author’s box or the resource box. Second, the major article directories do not allow affiliate links or even links to redirected pages or domains.
At last there is a content syndication service thall allows both contextual linking and inclusion of direct affiliate links. Yes, you will be able to join the affiliate program of the amazing My Article Network once you become a member of the service.
My Article Network is like a consortium for article marketers and content publishers. (The link goes to some specific information about My Article Network on one of my sites.)
Since I am writing for affiliate marketers, I’ll cut short the presell message and let sales page of My Article Network persuade you on its own. I have been a member of the system for less than seven weeks, and I am definitely ready to proselytize! I joined it for the article distribution, but I became so enthused that I set up four new blogs to take advantage of the free content in some of my niches. {(Go ahead. Click the link, you know you want to.)(Do it! You know you want to click the link. Come on…don’t you think I deserve it?}
